PI Industries Limited reported its Q4 and FY2026 audited standalone financial results. Revenue from operations for Q4 FY26 stood at Rs 13,914 million with profit after tax of Rs 1,978 million. Full year revenue was Rs 64,904 million vs Rs 78,718 million in FY25, reflecting a decline. The Board recognized an exceptional item loss of Rs 1,117 million mainly due to a Rs 1,100 million provision for impairment of investment in subsidiary PI Health Sciences. Total dividend of Rs 15 per share (Rs 10 final + Rs 5 interim) was recommended. Key management changes include: Mr. Rajnish Sarna resigned as Joint Managing Director but continues as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director; Ms. Lisa J Brown designated as Lead Independent Director; Dr. Marco Busch (Global Chief Scientific Officer) designated as Senior Management Personnel; and Dr. Atul Kumar Gupta appointed as Whole-time Director. Re-appointments of independent directors Shobinder Duggal and Pia Singh for second terms were approved.
The resignation of a key executive director while retaining him on the board may signal a strategic transition. The Rs 1,100 million impairment charge on the pharma subsidiary indicates stress in that business, but the unchanged audit opinion and continued dividend payout suggest overall financial stability.
