Piramal Finance Limited reported standalone total revenue of Rs. 13,157.07 crore for FY2026, up 27.6% from Rs. 10,307.51 crore in the prior year, driven by strong growth in interest income and a large dividend of Rs. 1,321.80 crore received from its wholly-owned subsidiary Piramal Fund Management Limited. Profit after tax grew nearly 168% to Rs. 1,540.02 crore from Rs. 574.07 crore, boosted by a Rs. 263.09 crore gain on sale of the 14.72% stake in Shriram Life Insurance. The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 11 per share (550%). Key metrics include a debt-equity ratio of 2.77, gross NPA of 2.26%, and CRAR of 19.77%. Exceptional items of Rs. 81 crore (amalgamation costs and tax compensation) and a Rs. 590 crore impairment on investment property were recorded. The composite scheme of amalgamation with Piramal Enterprises Limited became effective September 16, 2025, and prior year figures have been restated.
Strong financial performance with near-tripling of PAT reflects organic growth and the Shriram Life Insurance stake sale gain; the large dividend from subsidiary signals healthy internal cash generation. The Rs. 590 crore investment property impairment in Q4 is a notable one-time charge.
