Piramal Finance Q1 FY27 standalone total income rose 28 percent YoY to Rs 3,470.84 cr. Net profit jumped 67 percent to Rs 439.92 cr from Rs 263.25 cr. Basic EPS at Rs 19.41 versus Rs 11.64. Debt-equity ratio 2.80, Gross NPA 2.37 percent, Net NPA 1.64 percent. Board also approved raising up to Rs 4,000 cr via equity, convertibles or NCDs through QIP, preferential or rights issue. Postal ballot planned for shareholder approval. Joint auditors gave a clean review. Q1 FY26 figures restated for the composite scheme with Piramal Enterprises.
Strong profit growth signals business strength. The proposed Rs 4,000 cr capital raise may dilute existing shareholders. Asset quality remains comfortable.
