Piramal Finance has sent a postal ballot notice seeking shareholder approval to raise up to Rs 4,000 crore through qualified institutions placement, rights issue, preferential allotment, or private placement, or any combination. Proceeds will be used for augmenting capital for onward lending, AUM growth, and capital adequacy. Pricing will follow the SEBI ICDR floor price formula, with up to a 5 percent discount permitted. E-voting runs from 19 July to 17 August 2026, with results on or before 19 August 2026.
