On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.2 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Piramal Pharma has received a permanent revocation from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) for closure directions originally issued in February 2026 at its Dahej plant in Bharuch, Gujarat. The directions were issued under Section 33A of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. An interim revocation had already been granted earlier. With permanent revocation now in place, the Dahej site continues normal operations with full regulatory clearance.
Positive: removes regulatory overhang on Dahej operations, allowing uninterrupted production and supply for the company.
