Platinum Industries has started commercial production at its new manufacturing facility in Palghar, Maharashtra, effective August 8, 2025. The facility was set up as part of the company's IPO objectives, as outlined in its March 2024 prospectus. Phase 1 focuses on producing CPVC Additives with a capacity of 12,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). Additional phases of expansion at the same facility are expected to be completed on or before December 31, 2025.
This is a positive operational milestone that delivers on the company's IPO promise and adds new revenue-generating capacity. Investors should watch for ramp-up in subsequent quarters and timely execution of the remaining phases by year-end to gauge the actual financial impact.
