Narbada Gems and Jewellery Ltd has fixed Friday, February 27, 2026 as the record date for its proposed amalgamation with Uday Jewellery Industries Limited. The NCLT Hyderabad bench had already sanctioned the scheme on January 21, 2026, and the certified copy of the order was received on February 10, 2026. The scheme will become effective once the certified order is filed with the Registrar of Companies. Shareholders holding shares of Narbada Gems as on the record date will be eligible to receive equity shares of Uday Jewellery Industries (the transferee company) in accordance with the swap ratio under the scheme.
Existing shareholders of Narbada Gems will become shareholders of Uday Jewellery Industries Limited upon the scheme becoming effective. The stock may see reduced trading interest as investors await the share allotment and effectiveness of the merger.
