PNC Infratech has received a Letter of Acceptance from UP State Bridge Corporation Ltd (UPSBC) for constructing a 4-lane major bridge over the Ganga River connecting Trans Ganga City to Kanpur City. The project is awarded to a Joint Venture comprising PNC Infratech and SPS Constructions India with a 50:50 participation ratio. After price negotiations, the contract value was reduced from Rs. 571.81 crore to Rs. 559.53 crore (excluding GST). The project will be executed on EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) mode with a completion period of 36 months (3 years). This is a domestic order with no related party involvement.
This is a positive development for PNC Infratech as the Rs. 559.53 crore contract adds significantly to their order book. The bridge construction project in Uttar Pradesh strengthens their infrastructure portfolio and provides revenue visibility for the next 3 years.
