On the reaction day the stock moved 3.6 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.4 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
PNC Infratech has received a Letter of Acceptance from South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a Coal India subsidiary, for handling, transport, and mining services at the Gevra OCP Expansion Project in Chhattisgarh. PNC emerged as the L1 (lowest) bidder for this domestic contract, valued at Rs. 3,488.86 Crores inclusive of 18% GST. The project involves overburden removal, coal extraction using surface miners, and coal transportation, to be executed over five years. No promoter or related-party interest is involved in the awarding entity.
This is a sizeable order win for PNC Infratech, adding a major public-sector coal mining contract to its order book and providing strong revenue visibility over the next five years. Positive for the stock in the short term as it reinforces the company's order pipeline from government clients.
