Power Grid Corporation of India has informed exchanges that its wholly owned subsidiary, POWERGRID Raipur Pool Dhamtari Transmission Limited, has fully commissioned its transmission project. The project is the Transmission System associated with the Western Region Expansion Scheme-XXVII (WRES-XXVII), won through tariff-based competitive bidding. The project achieved complete commissioning on 26th March 2025, and the official Date of Commercial Operation (DOCO) notification was received on 16th April 2025.
This is a positive development for Power Grid shareholders as the subsidiary can now start earning transmission revenue from this newly commissioned project. Successful commissioning on schedule also reinforces Power Grid's strong execution capabilities in the transmission sector.
