POWERGRID wins TBCB bid for inter-state transmission system project

Power Grid Corporation has been declared successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) to establish an Inter-State Transmission System. The project, named Augmentation at Bhadla-III, Ramgarh PS and Kanpur (PG), will be executed on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer basis. It involves augmentation and bay extension works at three substations at Bhadla-III in Rajasthan, Ramgarh in Rajasthan, and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Power Grid received the Letter of Intent on 09th July 2026.
