Power Mech Projects has secured two domestic orders for operation and maintenance of thermal power plants. The larger order worth ₹498.39 crores is from SJVN Thermal (a government PSU) for commissioning support and O&M of the 2x660 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project in Bihar over 39 months. The second order worth ₹52.96 crores is from Jhabua Power Limited (a joint venture of NTPC) for O&M of a 1x600 MW unit in Madhya Pradesh over 3 years. Combined order value is ₹551.35 crores. Both orders are from government-owned entities and neither involves related party transactions. The company has no promoter interest in the awarding entities.
This is a positive development — the combined order book addition of over ₹551 crores strengthens revenue visibility for the next 3 years, with both orders coming from creditworthy government-linked clients, reducing execution risk.
