Premier Energies' wholly-owned subsidiary PBTPL has signed a Share Allotment cum Shareholders Agreement with Germany's RCT Group entity (now RCT Nexor Energy) and JV company PESSPL to establish a 12 GWh Battery Energy Storage System manufacturing facility in Seetharampur, Telangana. The first phase covers 6 GWh, expected to be operational in FY27-28. The JV will serve residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale BESS markets. RCT India will receive 15% equity via milestone-linked tranches, with an option to subscribe to an additional 5% after Phase 1.
Formalises a strategic international JV, diversifying Premier Energies into the fast-growing BESS segment, which could support long-term revenue expansion.
