Premier Energies has commissioned a new 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing line at its Fab City facility in Hyderabad, making it among the first solar manufacturers in India to operationalize TOPCon technology. The new line uses advanced 16-busbar architecture and can deliver solar cell efficiencies exceeding 25%. With this addition, the company's solar cell manufacturing capacity has risen from 2 GW to 3.2 GW. Premier Energies is targeting total cell capacity of 8.4 GW and module capacity of 11.1 GW by June 2026. The company currently has a total manufacturing capacity of 11.1 GW, including 6 GW under construction.
