On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.7 pts more than its Power peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

On 26 October 2026, PTC India’s board approved forming a wholly owned company to establish and operate a Mineral Exchange for delivery-based electronic trading in permitted minerals. PTC will initially subscribe Rs. 10 crore and may invest up to Rs. 65 crore in tranches. The plan depends on the Indian Bureau of Mines granting more time, followed by registration and Central Government approval.
The move could create a new growth platform, but benefits depend on regulatory approval and execution, while the funding commitment may affect cash flow.
