Aerolloy Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of PTC Industries, has received a development order from France-based Safran Aircraft Engines for critical titanium cast parts for the LEAP engine programme, which powers Airbus A320neo, Boeing 737 MAX and COMAC C919 aircraft. This is the second set of orders from Safran under LEAP. Both firms also signed an MoU for long-term serial production after successful qualification. Order value was not disclosed. Aerolloy will supply fully machined, ready-to-fit components using the integrated PTC ONE system.
Positive. Validation from global aerospace major Safran strengthens PTC's aerospace credentials and opens long-term serial production revenue potential.
