Purple Finance plans to enter affordable housing finance for rural and mass-market borrowers, possibly via an acquisition, investment or subsidiary. It approved PURPLE SARAL loans of ₹75,000 to ₹2 lakh and SAKSHAM LAP loans of ₹2 lakh to ₹4 lakh. Its assets under management rose 101% year on year to ₹329.21 crore; group assets reached ₹853 crore. Group profit after tax was ₹100.17 lakh in Q2 FY27 and ₹138.59 lakh in H1 FY27.
The move may support longer-term growth and diversify secured lending, but no housing finance deal is final and more capital may be required.
