The board accepted the resignation of Mr. S.S. Majumdar as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer due to health reasons, effective 19 March 2026, and appointed Ms. Sanjushree Paul (ACS-79252) as the new Company Secretary & Compliance Officer and Key Managerial Personnel on the same date. The board also noted ongoing legal proceedings: a misc. case before the Bankshall Court, Kolkata (next hearing 9 April 2026) and a title suit before City Civil Court, Kolkata (next hearing 27 April 2026), both related to premises occupied by the company. Additionally, UCO Bank's appeal against an NCLT Kolkata order is now before NCLAT Delhi, with the next hearing scheduled for 20 April 2026. The company has filed objections and is taking legal steps to protect its interests.
