PVP Ventures Limited's Board has approved acquiring an initial 41.2% stake in 7Med India Pvt. Ltd., a Delhi NCR-based healthcare company specializing in renal care, dialysis, nephrology and urology, with a contracted path to majority ownership within 12 months and a roadmap to increase holding to 76% over time. The total outlay is around INR 127 crores through a combination of primary and secondary share purchases, paid in cash. 7Med operates 22 dialysis centres across 6 states plus 4 super-specialty hospitals, employs 450+ professionals, and is among India's top 5 organized players in renal care. The company currently has an EBITDA of about INR 10 crores and targets INR 50 crores EBITDA in 4 years.
This marks a significant diversification move by PVP Ventures into the healthcare services sector, using cash flows from its legacy real estate assets. The acquisition adds a profitable, scalable healthcare platform to PVP's portfolio, potentially creating long-term value for shareholders if 7Med achieves its growth targets.
