QMS Medical Allied Services signed an MoU to acquire 100% of BeamOptics Scientific, a Pune-based deep-tech firm that designs IVD devices and analytical instruments for healthcare, dairy quality, food safety, and pharma screening. The deal is subject to NCLT approval and mutual fulfilment of terms. Separately, QMS is demerging its services business into wholly-owned subsidiary Saarathi Healthcare and merging its Patient Services Program portfolio with Health Care at Home (HCAH). QMS also recently signed a five-year exclusive India distribution deal with German firm HEINE Optotechnik.
Acquisition strengthens product portfolio in diagnostics and deep-tech analytics. Deal hinges on NCLT approval, so execution and regulatory risk remains for now.
