R.P.P. Infra Projects posted standalone revenue of Rs. 341.10 crores for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 2025), marginally higher than Rs. 336.12 crores in the same quarter last year. Net profit, however, fell sharply to Rs. 10.86 crores from Rs. 16.51 crores, a drop of around 34%, with EPS at Rs. 2.19 versus Rs. 4.35 earlier. The board cleared the re-appointment of P. Arul Sundaram as Chairman and Managing Director and A. Nithya as Whole Time Director and CFO, both for five years starting April 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Two Executive Directors, C.K. Venkatachalam and S. Anandavadivel, resigned on August 11 citing personal and professional reasons, and two new Additional Directors were appointed the same day. One of the new appointees, Venkatachalam Pranav Harshan, shares the surname of the resigning executive director, suggesting a possible family-level succession at the board. Lakshmmi Subramanian & Associates was also appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years from FY26 to FY30.
The sharp profit decline despite stable revenue is a concern for shareholders and may weigh on the stock, though continuity at the top with re-appointments of MD and CFO provides leadership stability. The simultaneous exit of two executive directors and entry of new faces, including a likely family member, points to a quiet board reshuffle worth monitoring.
