On the reaction day the stock moved 1.5 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.3 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
BSE has imposed a fine of Rs 9,66,420 (inclusive of GST) on RVNL for non-compliance with SEBI LODR norms on the composition of the Board and its committees for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. RVNL clarified it is a Government company and director appointments are made by the Ministry of Railways, leaving it with no control over board composition. The company stated no financial or operational impact and expects the fine to be waived as in earlier similar instances.
Minor penalty with no material financial impact. Waiver expected as in prior instances once board composition is restored.
