On the reaction day the stock moved 0.9 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.4 pts more than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Rainbow reported Q2 FY27 revenue of Rs 5,480 million, up 23.2% year on year, and H1 revenue of Rs 10,180 million, up 27.6%. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 14.2% to Rs 1,700 million, while profit after tax rose 10.9% to Rs 839 million. EBITDA margin fell to 31.0% from 33.5% as occupancy declined. Nellore and Guntur hospitals began operations.
Revenue growth and expansion support the outlook, but lower margins and weaker occupancy may weigh on investor sentiment and the share price.
