On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.3 pts more than its Financial Institution peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
REC's wholly owned subsidiary RECPDCL has sold its entire 50,000 equity shares in Nawada Durgapur Power Transmission Limited to Shivalaya Construction Limited for about Rs 18.45 crore including taxes and fees. The sale was completed through tariff based competitive bidding on October 16, 2026. The buyer is not related to REC's promoter group and the transaction is not a related party deal. The divested SPV's contribution to REC's revenue was negligible.
Negligible financial impact on REC. The project SPV is no longer a subsidiary of REC or RECPDCL going forward.
