On the reaction day the stock moved 1.0 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.6 pts more than its Financial Institution peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
REC's wholly owned subsidiary RECPDCL has sold two project-specific transmission SPVs through tariff-based competitive bidding. Jam Khambhaliya Jamnagar Power Transmission was sold to Ceigall India Limited for about Rs 8.40 crore including taxes. Lakadia II Power Transmission was sold to Power Grid Corporation of India for about Rs 8.43 crore including taxes. Both transfers completed on October 12, 2026. The SPVs are no longer subsidiaries of RECPDCL or REC Limited. Revenue and net worth contribution from these SPVs was negligible.
Minor divestment of non-core project SPVs with negligible revenue impact. No material effect on shareholders expected.
