Regaal Resources has doubled its crushing capacity from 825 TPD to 1,650 TPD and launched two new manufacturing facilities — a Liquid Glucose plant (180 MT/day) and a Maltodextrin Powder plant (50 MT/day) — at its Kishanganj, Bihar plant. The company also expanded its captive co-generation power plant from 7.1 MW to 15.8 MW. The total investment is approximately Rs 389 crores, financed through debt and internal accruals. The rationale is to address fully utilized existing capacity and meet growing domestic and international demand for value-added maize specialty products.
This is a significant operational expansion that doubles output capacity and diversifies into higher-margin specialty products, which should be positive for revenue and profitability over the medium to long term.
