Regaal Resources Limited has doubled its maize crushing capacity from 825 TPD to 1,650 TPD at its Kishanganj facility in Bihar. The company commissioned a new Liquid Glucose manufacturing plant (180 MT/day) and a Maltodextrin Powder facility (50 MT/day). Total investment for this expansion was approximately ₹389 crore. The facility also expanded its captive co-generation power capacity from 7.1 MW to 15.8 MW. With this expansion, Regaal becomes Eastern India's largest maize-based specialty manufacturer. The company plans further expansion in FY27 with Dextrose Anhydrous, Dextrose Monohydrate, and Hydrol products.
This expansion significantly increases Regaal's production scale and product portfolio in higher-margin specialty maize derivatives, which could boost revenue and margins. The company also expects to add 475 direct jobs (total 950) and support local farmers through strengthened sourcing networks.
