Lords Mark Industries has secured a mandate from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to implement solar highway lighting at 104 accident-prone and blackspot locations in the Vijayawada region. The project was won through competitive bidding in partnership with Signify Innovations India (formerly Philips Lighting India), and covers survey, design, manufacturing, and implementation work across multiple stretches of NH-16 and NH-216. This is Phase 1 of a larger pan-India programme planned over a four-year period, covering national highways in multiple states. Management described the win as a strategic milestone validating the company's data-driven road safety approach and execution capability.
