On the reaction day the stock moved 5.3 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 4.9 pts less than its Housing Finance Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
On 16 September 2025, NCLT Mumbai admitted Reliance Home Finance into corporate insolvency resolution over default of INR 7.81 crore, including INR 80.98 lakh interest. Umesh Balaram Sonkar was appointed interim resolution professional. The board is suspended, a moratorium restricts asset transfers and legal actions, and the professional will collect claims and manage operations as a going concern where possible.
Shareholders face high risk: control has shifted to the interim professional, and equity may be diluted or wiped out if the company is liquidated.
