Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of RIL, has acquired 100% equity stake in Tamil Nadu based Southern Health Foods Private Limited (SHFPL) for Rs 156.42 crore in cash. SHFPL, known for its flagship brand Manna, makes millet-based foods, oats, health mixes, breakfast cereals and baby food. SHFPL becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of RCPL effective February 9, 2026. SHFPL posted turnover of Rs 109.40 crore in FY25, down from Rs 127.37 crore in FY24. Deal is not a related party transaction and needed no regulatory approvals.
Strengthens RIL's FMCG and health foods portfolio. Deal size is small relative to RIL's scale; adds regional brand Manna for national expansion.
