On the reaction day the stock moved 2.6 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 2.9 pts less than its Power Generation peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Reliance Power posted Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue of about Rs 1,872 crore, up slightly year on year, with profit after tax of Rs 25 crore versus Rs 42 crore a year ago. Nine month profit was Rs 157 crore versus Rs 2,822 crore last year (which included a one-time Rs 3,230 crore gain from subsidiary deconsolidation). Board appointed Sudhakar Tandon as Business Head and Abhimanyu Das as Regulatory or Legal Head as senior management. Results flagged ED action, SEBI forensic audit, RSTEPL going concern doubts, and a Rs 1,663 crore lender claim under arbitration.
Mixed quarter with weak YoY earnings; fresh senior management may signal operational push, but ongoing ED and SEBI probes remain overhangs.
