Citizen Infoline Ltd held a meeting of equity shareholders on 3 September 2025, directed by the NCLT Ahmedabad Bench, to vote on a Scheme of Amalgamation with Citizen Solar Private Limited (Transferor Company). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Dipak Rachchha, appointed by the Tribunal. A total of 38 equity shareholders participated, representing 47.63% of paid-up share capital. All 32,11,173 votes polled (100%) were cast in favour of the amalgamation, with zero votes against and no invalid votes. The resolution was approved by more than the required three-fourths majority, clearing the way for the scheme to move forward before the NCLT.
Positive for shareholders — the amalgamation with Citizen Solar Pvt Ltd has received full shareholder approval and now awaits final NCLT sanction, after which the merged entity will combine operations and financials of both companies.
