Rose Merc Limited's board approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations declined to ₹69.50 lakhs from ₹81.92 lakhs in the same quarter last year, while net profit fell sharply to ₹1.29 lakhs from ₹33.10 lakhs, with EPS dropping to ₹0.02 from ₹0.68. On a consolidated basis, total income grew strongly to around ₹2,215 lakhs from ₹768 lakhs, helped by contributions from subsidiaries including sports, media and advisory businesses. Consolidated net profit swung to a positive ₹185.45 lakhs from a loss of ₹68.68 lakhs earlier. The board also reconstituted the Audit Committee with five members, including three independent directors and one women independent director. The auditor B.B. Gusani & Associates issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Mixed signals for shareholders: consolidated results show strong revenue growth and a return to profitability, but standalone operations are sharply weaker with profits nearly wiped out. The swing from consolidated loss to profit and the diversified subsidiary portfolio may be seen positively, though the standalone earnings compression is a concern.
