Mr. Ramesh Vaze, Promoter, Non-Executive Director and Chairman of S H Kelkar and Company Limited, passed away on September 15, 2026, at age 85. A master perfumer, he joined the family business in 1961 and was instrumental in shaping SHK into India largest Indian-origin fragrance and flavour company. He served on the board since 1981 and as Non-Executive Chairman since 2019. Leadership continuity is in place as his son, Mr. Kedar Vaze, continues as Whole-Time Director and Group CEO.
Operational leadership continues via Kedar Vaze as CEO, but promoter succession and board composition changes will be monitored by investors.
