Sambhv Steel Tubes has received Environmental Clearance from the Ministry of Environment for its proposed Unit-3 greenfield project at Sarora, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves Ferro Alloys production through four Submerged Arc Furnaces of 18 MVA each and a 60 MW FBC-based Captive Power Plant. The proposed investment is INR 1,500 million (around 150 crore), as approved by the board on May 9, 2026. This clearance is a key regulatory step needed before construction can begin at the new facility.
Clears a major regulatory hurdle for the 150 crore Raipur unit. Positive for long-term capacity, but execution and timeline risks remain.
