Samhi Hotels reported strong FY26 performance with Total Income up 12.3% YoY to Rs. 12,790 Mn and PAT up 5.6x YoY to Rs. 5,665 Mn. However, PAT was significantly boosted by a one-time deferred tax asset of ~Rs. 3,000 Mn recognized based on improved earnings visibility. Q4 FY26 saw RevPAR at Rs. 6,041 (up 4.1% YoY) with 75% occupancy, and Total Income of Rs. 3,535 Mn (up 9.3% YoY). EBITDA margin contracted to 34.0% in Q4 from 39.5% YoY due to GST-related challenges and new labor code implementation costs of Rs. 245 Mn. Net Debt increased slightly to Rs. 14,507 Mn with Net Debt:EBITDA at 3.1x. A landmark development was GIC investing ~Rs. 6,000 Mn for a 35% minority stake, validating the asset quality.
Revenue growth demonstrates resilience despite headwinds, but PAT surge is inflated by one-time tax asset. Margin pressure and rising leverage ratios warrant attention. GIC partnership strengthens the balance sheet for future growth.
