Board approved two transactions: (1) Acquiring 49% equity each in Clean Max Nile and Clean Max Solomon, solar project SPVs in Maharashtra and Karnataka, for Rs 1.45 Crore each (~Rs 2.91 Crore total) to supply renewable energy to subsidiary hotels, cutting utility costs. (2) Investing Rs 44.02 Crore in wholly-owned subsidiary Duet India Hotels (Hyderabad) via secondary acquisition of CCCPS from another subsidiary Duet Pune, to simplify group structure and remove cross shareholding.
Solar deals are small but support cost savings via green energy; internal restructuring streamlines the group with no ownership change for shareholders.
