On the reaction day the stock moved 0.4 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.6 pts more than its Housing Finance Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Avenir Investment RSC Ltd, with IHC Capital Holding LLC, has launched a mandatory open offer for up to 34.18 crore Sammaan Capital shares at Rs 139 each, equal to 26% of expanded voting capital and worth up to Rs 4,750.38 crore. It follows a proposed preferential issue of 33 crore shares plus warrants that would make Avenir the promoter. The offer needs shareholder and regulatory approvals.
The Rs 139 offer sets a price reference, but control transfer and warrant exercise could reduce existing holders' stakes. Sammaan remains listed.
