Samvardhana Motherson International's wholly owned unit SMISL has sold its 26 percent stake in AES India Engineering to JV partner T-NET Japan. AES India offers EPC services for automotive, rail, agriculture equipment and white goods sectors. The transfer was approved by AES India's board and completed on September 24, 2026 after all conditions were met. Motherson now fully exits this JV.
Minor non-core JV exit with limited impact on consolidated revenue. Focus remains on core auto components business.
