Motherson, via its indirect unit MGI B.V., to acquire 100 percent of Nexans AutoElectric, a global automotive wiring harness maker with CY2024 revenue of EUR 749 million and EBITDA of EUR 47.9 million. Deal valued at EUR 207 million enterprise value on cash and debt-free basis, all cash. Adds 22 facilities across 11 countries and about 13,000 employees. Expected to be cash EPS accretive, closing by Q1 FY27, subject to regulatory approvals and employee consultation.
Strategic expansion of wiring harness business; cash EPS accretive deal adds scale and synergies but regulatory clearances in EU, US and Brazil remain key risks.
