The board approved acquiring 100% of Golden Bridge Sociedad Anonima, a Paraguay-registered company with no operations, to build a wiring harness plant near Asuncion. The price is USD 1 plus about USD 8,000 in legal fees. The plant will receive PYG 68.43 billion, about EUR 10 million, in capital as needed, with completion expected in Q3 of FY 2026-27.
The deal expands Motherson's South American capacity and customer reach, but the new plant will take time to start and could require further capital.
