SAMIL's wholly owned unit SMISL has agreed to sell its entire 26 percent stake in AES India Engineering, a joint venture with T-Net Japan, back to the JV partner for about INR 68.64 lakh. AES India, formed in 2005, provides automotive engineering and consulting services. Its revenue of INR 178.6 million and net worth of INR 4.7 million are negligible compared with SAMIL's consolidated revenue of INR 12,61,037 million and net worth of INR 3,47,229 million. Both partners agreed to pursue independent strategies. Deal expected to close in Q3 FY27. Company labels it non-material.
Non-material divestment of a small JV stake; negligible financial impact and no change to SAMIL's core business or growth outlook.
