Sanmit Infra's board met on November 13, 2025 and approved its unaudited standalone results for Q2 and H1 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025). Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs 706.55 lakhs in Q2 FY26, down from Rs 3,900.61 lakhs in Q1 FY26, and the company slipped back into a loss of Rs 116.66 lakhs for the quarter versus a Rs 94.21 lakh profit in the previous quarter. For H1 FY26, total income stood at Rs 6,425.28 lakhs with a net loss of Rs 36.54 lakhs. The board also accepted the resignation of Mr. Dinesh Kanayalal Makhija as CFO (citing other professional engagement) and appointed Mr. Kamal Kanayalal Makhija (brother of MD Sanjay Makhija) as the new CFO. Additionally, Mr. Shlok Sanjay Makhija (son of MD Sanjay Makhija) was appointed as CEO with effect from the same date.
The sharp quarter-on-quarter revenue drop and return to losses raise concerns about business consistency, though the half-year position is only marginally negative. Leadership transition is essentially a promoter-family reshuffle (son becomes CEO, brother becomes CFO), which shareholders should watch for governance and succession-planning implications rather than any fresh independent oversight.
