On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.4 pts more than its Iron & Steel peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Sarda Energy's wholly owned subsidiary Kalyani Coal Mining (KCMPL) has had its agreement with South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) terminated for the Kalyani Underground Coal Mines project. The termination was sought by KCMPL itself because the project became unviable after a change in mine boundary. KCMPL is now working to get its security deposit released from SECL.
Exits an unviable project, may free up capital. Security deposit recovery pending. Removes a potential growth avenue for the subsidiary.
