Sarda Energy & Minerals Limited's subsidiary, Chhattisgarh Hydro Power LLP, has received in-principle approval from Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. for long-term power procurement from its 24.9 MW Rehar-1 small hydro power project (comprising 3 units of 8.3 MW each). The project has commenced commercial operation on 8th July 2025. This marks the entry of the subsidiary into active revenue generation from a renewable energy asset. The project is located in Chhattisgarh and will supply power to the state distribution utility on a long-term basis.
