Sarveshwar Foods' board approved raising up to Rs. 150 crore through a rights issue of equity shares (face value Re. 1) to existing shareholders, with terms yet to be finalised. The board also approved unaudited Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results on a standalone and consolidated basis. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations stood at Rs. 14,807.72 lakhs while net profit jumped to Rs. 325.26 lakhs (from Rs. 128.75 lakhs in Q4 FY25). On a consolidated basis, revenue was Rs. 30,134.89 lakhs and net profit more than doubled YoY to Rs. 702.35 lakhs (from Rs. 308.87 lakhs in Q1 FY25). Additionally, Mr. Anand Sharda, a Chartered Accountant with 19 years of experience (previously with Parag Milkfoods, RBL Bank, DCB Bank, Publicis Groupe), was appointed as the new CFO effective August 11, 2025. A Rights Issue Committee was also constituted to decide the issue terms.
The Rs. 150 crore rights issue signals a capital raise that could lead to share dilution for shareholders, but may fund growth or strengthen the balance sheet. Strong YoY profit growth in Q1 FY26 reflects improving operational performance, while the appointment of an experienced CFO brings financial leadership stability.
