Tavexia Lifecare Limited (formerly Sattva Sukun Lifecare, BSE: 539519) will acquire a 60% controlling stake in Meyonex Pharmaceuticals Limited for Rs 67.19 Crore via cash subscription of 2.09 crore fresh shares at Rs 32 each. Meyonex operates manufacturing at MIDC Tarapur, Maharashtra. The company also widened its Main Object Clause to enter APIs, formulations, CDMO/CRAMS, nutraceuticals and biotech. Fund-raising through equity or convertible instruments is planned to finance the expansion.
Signals a major strategic pivot into pharma manufacturing. Watch for fund-raising announcement that could dilute short-term, but adds long-term growth runway.
