On the reaction day the stock moved 2.7 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 2.7 pts less than its Heavy Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
NSE/BSE sought clarification after a Moneycontrol article said SEIL hit a 10% upper circuit on news of parent Schneider Electric tying up with Foxconn for AI data centres. SEIL clarified the tie-up was NOT entered into by the listed Indian company but by another entity within the Schneider Electric Group. The company confirmed it has no undisclosed information or event requiring disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR.
Stock may correct as the Foxconn-AI deal catalyst is unrelated to the listed Indian entity; investors should not price in the parent group deal.
