On the reaction day the stock moved 3.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 4.4 pts more than its Shipping peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Seamec Limited has bagged a subcontract from G R Infraprojects Limited for charter hire of its vessel SEAMEC III. The vessel will be deployed for subsea installation and diving works across three ONGC projects (Part Replacement Pipeline, PRP-VIII A and DSF II). The subcontract is valued at about USD 16.72 million (around Rs 140 crore) excluding GST and runs for 150 days. The end client is ONGC, a Government of India PSU. The parties are not related and the deal is at arms length.
Locks in vessel utilisation for about 5 months and adds a sizeable order. Positive for near-term revenue and earnings visibility.
