Senco Gold Limited reported strong full-year results with consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 84,300.30 million, up 33.2% from Rs 63,280.72 million in FY25. Profit after tax surged to Rs 5,743.19 million versus Rs 1,593.09 million in the prior year, representing a 260% PAT growth. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1 per share (20%) subject to shareholder approval. Walker Chandiok & Co LLP issued an unmodified audit opinion with no qualifications. The company completed a QIP in the prior year with all funds fully deployed (Rs 3,500 million towards debt repayment, Rs 946.94 million for general corporate purposes, Rs 143.06 million for issue expenses). The Board also approved acquisition of approximately 68% equity stake in August Jewellery Private Limited, pending regulatory approvals.
Strong double-digit revenue growth and multi-fold PAT growth are positive for shareholders. The company also announced strategic expansion via the August Jewellery acquisition. However, investors should note that operating cash flow was negative due to significant inventory build-up typical of the jewellery business.
